- Workshop ‘Frontiers in the computational modeling of disease spreading’ @ ICCS2010, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, May 31-June 2, 2010.
The Workshop will bring together experts in the field of computational epidemiology to compare and evaluate the recent advances reached with the use of sophisticate data-driven modeling, and assess their role in informing public health decisions for preparedness planning and during epidemic emergencies.
- White Workshop on Matematical Biology, Trento, Italy, December 17-19, 2009
The WWMB meeting is intended to provide a forum to Italian groups working in Mathematical Biology and is open to international contribution and participation.The Workshop aims to give an opportunity for discussing recent results and future perspectives to the research in biological modelling and mathematical methods. Topics in the programme include cell dynamics, tumours growth, demography, ecology, epidemics.
- Epiwork First Project Meeting, Turin, Italy, November 16-18, 2009.
This is the first project meeting and it is intended as the first check-point of the activities of the project within the consortium. The meeting will allow all partners to provide a summary of the activities undertaken and the progress with respect to the many approaching deliverable deadlines. It is also the moment for share among all project components.
- WP5 first meeting, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, May 25-26, 2009.
WP5 is about collecting data and about communication. The purpose is to attract people to report their disease symptoms via internet (or mobile phones). To implement this form of data collection in many different countries the WP5 project should come up with a single website design, standard questionnaires. The main goal of this meeting is to make steps forward and set appointments to accomplish this goals.
